The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat men's and women's basketball teams picked up a doubleheader sweep of Lincoln on Thursday evening in Jefferson City. 

The Bearcats rolled past Lincoln 87-53 to improve to 8-0. Ryan Hawkins dropped 43 points on 14-19 shooting.

Hawkins tied for the second-most points scored ever by a Bearcat with his 43-point performance.

The Bearcats shot 54.3 percent from the floor.

The Northwest men's and women's teams will be heading to Warrensburg take on the Mules. Those games can be heard live on KXCV.org beginning at 12:30 with the pre-game show and tip off for the men scheduled for 3:00 p.m.  Bearcat Radio will be streaming from the Multipurpose Building on the UCM campus.
